Once you locate the index term that you would like to add to your search, mark the item, and then click the Add to search button. Some indexes will not display an alphabetical list before searching for the term, rather you will have to enter a term first, and then the alphabetical list of matches will display. The Look up list of the NAICS codes is unique, since it offers a display of the codes in hierarchical order, which allows browsing through categories in an organized manner. Select the Look up link and then you will see a browsable and alphabetical index for that field. ![]() Some of the Look up links will be listed in the lower section of the advanced search page. If a Look up is available, under the search row you will see a link to it. To use and locate a Look up link, select the field from the advanced search fields pull-down menu. The Boolean operator OR is used when a concept can be described by various terms, such as motivation OR incentive. Note: Look ups are also available from the Command Line search (through the Look up terms link). ABI-Inform (from ProQuest) ABI-Inform: Search Fields Additional search concepts could be added by making use of the Boolean operator AND. The ProQuest platform hosts multidisciplinary content containing scholarly journals, books, video & audio, dissertations & theses, newspapers and more. The ProQuest platform makes hundreds of full text and A&I (Abstracts & Indexes) collections available to researchers around the world. Enter your keyword(s) in the search area and select the search. Make sure Full text and Peer Reviewed are checked. Scroll midway down the page and locate ProQuest ABI/Inform Collection. Locate the Library link from Academic Tools. ProQuest will translate the abstract from English to any of the 14 languages currently supported. ![]() The Abstract provides a summary of the document and may include a translate option. You can find the Look up links in the advanced search page and they are available for the following searchable fields: author, publication, subject, company/organization, person, location, classification code, and NAICS.
